What is JPMC?

Japan Professional Muay Thai Commission (Hereafter called JPMC) is the organization established to support Professional Muay Thai activities in accordance to the rules and regulation of the Sports Authority of Thailand, as followed by the WBC Muay Thai.

JPMC and WBC Muaythai signed an agreement on February 12 th in Bangkok which stated that JPMC is the organization representing the WBC Muay Thai in Japan.

JPMC is established implement the Muaythai rules and regulations, licenses and medical examination as being fair and neutral to protect the fighters. JPMC is not the promoter to promote the event or boxers.

JPMC's other role is to cultivate proper Muay Thai as the true sport in Japan to help educate the youngsters and to build international relationship.

Why Commission?

To make Muay Thai to be recognized as International sports, it is necessary to have an organization which does not belong to any particular organization.

By having a commission, it will enable to keep fairness, to be neutral and maintain athletes in safe condition.

Why NPO (Non Profit Organization)?

We believe strongly that we would like to contribute to our society.

For example, we will approach to the educational contribution from both mentally and physically to support education the children.

We also would like to contribute on international relationship by Muay Thai being loved by many people around the world.

Support to the amateur is also important to make Muay Thai more active.

We will support the amateur through out Japan to build the Muay Thai community.

Our desire is to build relationship with many people and have a happy society by utilizing “Muay Thai”.

Relationship with WBC Muay Thai

One of the JPMC's main objectives is to have World Champion of Muay Thai which everyone would recognize. WBC Muay Thai is such World Title.

JPMC and WBC Muay Thai by Chairman of WBC Muay Thai, General Kovid Bhakdibhumi have both signed on an agreement on February 12 th in Bangkok which state that JPMC is the only organization which represent the WBC Muay Thai in Japan and JPMC will register and administer the WBC Rules and Regulations for Japanese Muay Thai boxers who participate in WBC Muay Thai events in all countries.
